IBPS PO Selection Process 2017: Every year IBPS conducting Common Written Examination (CWE PO/ MT) for the recruitment of Probationary Officer (PO), Management Trainee (MT) Posts for Public Sector Banks. Here we list out detailed information for the IBPS PO Selection Process 2016.
IBPS PO Selection Process Complete Details:
The IBPS PO selection process will be done through three successive stages. The first one is Preliminary Examination, second stage is Main Examination and third stage is Common Interview conducted by IBPS.
Common Written Exam (CWE VI) Online: The Common Written Exam (CWE VI) will be conducted in two tier phase through Online. Both preliminary and main examination consists of objective type questions.

IBPS Preliminary Examination: The IBPS Preliminary Examination will be conducted through online consists of objective type questions. Total Marks of this examination is 100 & Time Duration is 1 hour.
The Questions asked by the following topics.
- Reasoning Ability – 35 Marks
- Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Marks
- English Language – 30 Marks
IBPS Main Examination: IBPS Main (IBPS CWE) is an Objective type exam consists of 200 marks having Duration of 2 hours conducted through Online. There will be Negative Marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If a question is unanswered or left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question.
All the test questions will be available bilingually (English and Hindi) except the Test of English Language. Each Candidate will be required to obtain a minimum score in each test to qualify for interview. IBPS CWE Main Exam Topics: Reasoning, English, Quantitative Aptitude, General Knowledge and Computer Knowledge.

IBPS Common Interview: Candidates who have been qualified in IBPS CWE PO/MT-IV written Exam will be called for Interview to be conducted by the Participating Organizations and coordinated by the Nodal Bank in each State/ UT with the assistance of IBPS. The Interview will be conducted at the selected Centers.
The total marks allotted for IBPS Interview are 100. The minimum qualifying marks in interview will not be less than 40% out of 100 (35% for SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD candidates). The ration of CWE Main exam and interview will be 80:20 respectively.
The final scores of candidates shall be displayed on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in both CWE PO/MT-V and Interview. If a candidate qualified both in the CWE and interview will be shortlisted for provisional allotment process. Candidates must take the documents mentioned documents and certificates given below and proceed during interview.

Note: If two or more candidates having obtained the same score, merit list will be allotted according to their date of birth (i.e. Senior Aged candidates placed before junior candidates.
